We are absolutely green.

The green concept is into our values since the inception of our activities.

But, what it means to be green in the spa business?

We are green in the spa business as a result of the following actions:

1. NATURAL FORMULATIONS. A value between 60% to 95.5% of the ingredient list into the products we use in our treatments are made of a natural product, the aloe.

2. BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS. The aloe contained into the products, with some variations, come from different production places with biological and/or organic production procedures. Some products are organic certified. No herbicides, pesticides or chemicals are used into Aloetrade Argentina plantations, and other aloe plantations in Mexico and Venezuela controlled by Aloetrade America.

3. CARBON FREE. Most of all, we are carbon free and our aloe production is carbon sequestrant. We are doing the formal procedures to establish the aloe plantation as carbon free, and to issue carbon certificates.

4. PLANET CONSERVATION. Various aloe plantations where we get our raw material are in desert areas. Aloe plantations are an answer against desertification and cooperate against climate change. Through Aloetrade America we offer technical assistance to improve aloe plantations in several countries in the world.

5. ECO-FRIENDLY. Most of our treatments are green and eco-friendly. For instance, our treatments have minimum water consumption, in opposition to large spas with huge water consumption for the wet treatments. Most of our Aloe-Spa Salute per Aloe^TM treatments are dry treatments. Even the aloe bath use minimum water if compared with other spa water based treatments. Our packaging is recyclable.

6. NOT GENETICALLY MODIFIED. All our products are not Genetically Modified. We use aloe and other natural raw materials, just as Mother Nature brought to us. No GMO products.

7. NO ANIMAL TESTING. All our products are not tested on animals.

8. PARABEN FREE. All our products are paraben-free. No harmful ingredients.  

Aloe-Spa Salute per Aloe^TM is a green spa concept. At Aloe-Spa we have achieved a high level of sustainability. Our spas show highly sustainability levels.

We offer spa signature services performed with products containing 60% to 95% of aloe vera into the total content.

Aloetrade America LLC has agreements with several aloe vera and aloe saponaria producers in Latin America and Spain to obtain aloe juice and aloe gel as raw material to be used as the main ingredient into our products used in the Aloe-Spa treatments. We design and test the aloe cosmetic products to be used into our Aloe-Spa treatments. The production of our aloe cosmetics and aloe products is done under a contract manufacturing scheme with a beauty lab located in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Energy and Climate

• Our greenhouse gas emissions are absolutely at low levels.
• Furthermore, all the aloe plantations were our raw material is bought, are carbon sequestrant.
• Besides it, the aloe plantations are one of the best ways to avoid desertification of land, so avoiding climate change.

Material Efficiency

• Solid Waste.  Among our products and elements used to perform Aloe-Spa treatments, we produce less than 100 lb a month on average per location of solid waste.
• Liquid Waste. As most of our Aloe-Spa services are dry treatments, we have minimal liquid waste in comparison to other spas. Liquid waste from the manufacturing facilities where our cosmetic aloe products are manufactured are also minimal.

Natural Resources

• We have defined eco friendly purchasing guidelines with our direct supplier.
• We encourage to protect the environment, with fair employment practices and ingredient/product safety.

People and Community

• We know the 100% of the facility that produce our Aloe-Spa products.
• We know the aloe as raw material used into the process.
• We are doing community development activities in Argentina, the place where we manufacture most of our aloe products.
