The Spa World Meets At Cosmoprof Spa Bologna 2009 - The Monaco Spa Event, dedicated to the world of Spa and Wellness, moves to Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna and becomes Cosmoprof Spa Bologna, to be held from 3rd to 6th April 2009.
This is just one of the numerous new aspects of the 42nd edition of Cosmoprof. The idea originates with the conscious aim of placing the Spa World at the centre of the most important international event dedicated to beauty, thereby taking advantage of the exceptional number of visitors it attracts. Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has a unique reach among qualified professionals, which in last year’s edition numbered 150,853, 39,221 of which were international.
The idea for the project stemmed from the redistribution and rationalisation of the main sectors (Perfumery & Cosmetics, Hair, Spa-Beauty, Cosmopack and Cosmoprof Nature) inside Cosmoprof and by the opening of the brand new trade fair Halls 14-15: over 10,000 square metres of exhibition space, destined to be one of the most innovative and professional of its kind at the next edition. The new Halls will in fact house Cosmoprof Spa, gathering the most prestigious international companies in the Wellness sector. In this way, inside the area dedicated to Professional Beauty (21,268 square metres of exhibition space spread over Halls 14-15, 16-18 and 22), there will be another, distinct, synergic area: an event within the event.
Cosmoprof Spa will be a point of reference and a network hub for the entire sector thanks to a series of conferences in connection with it: the Spa Symposium, which will be in its second edition. The previous edition was held within the framework of The Monaco Spa Event and was completely “sold out”. This was as a result of the high level of speakers, true protagonists of the worldwide Spa scenario, as well as the content which gave valuable and necessary information to interpret market demand. The Cosmoprof Spa Symposium timetable will soon be available online at www.cosmoprof.com.
